NEW YORK STATE ASSOCIATION OF COUNTY PLANNING DIRECTORS
BY-LAWS
- NAME: The name of this organization shall be The New York State Association of County Planning Directors.

- MEMBERS. All counties in New York State having membership in the New York State Association of Counties and an official county planning organization with a professional director or other chief are members of this organization.

- As used in these by-laws, "County Planning Director" shall mean the paid professional head or chief of staff of the county planning organization.
- All county director, or their designee, shall have the opportunity of participating in the New York State Association of County Planning Directors if their counties are current dues-paying members of the New York State Association of Counties. They shall be termed "Active Members". Only one vote shall be allowed per county on issues before the Association.

There shall be a regional Vice-President for each such region, elected at the annual meeting by the active members present from that region. - FINANCES. Any assessment on members to meet the costs of this organization not met through membership in the New York State Association of Counties shall be in accordance with the following limitations.

- Assessments may be levied by the Executive Committee shall not exceed $50.00 per active member per year without the approval of a majority of all active members of this organization.
- Non-payment of assessments after it becomes due shall result in the delinquent member losing his vote until all past assessments have been paid. Dues will be considered delinquent 90 days after the notice for payment has been sent out by the New York Planning Federation.
- The Secretary/Treasurer (or Treasurer if that separate office has been created) shall be responsible for all funds. New York Planning Federation shall have the actual custody of the funds unless determined otherwise by the Executive Committee.
